Educational Qualification: Matriculation or 10th class pass from a recognized Board/ University.

Age Limit: 18-23 years as on 01.08.2018. Candidates should not have been born earlier than 02.08.1995 and later than 01.08.2000.

Pay Scale: Rs 21700- 69100

• (i) Fee payable: Rs. 100/- (Rupees One Hundred only).
• (ii) Fee can be paid through SBI Challan/ SBI Net Banking or by using Visa, Mastercard or Maestro Credit or Debit card.
• (iii) Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Ex-Servicemen eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of fee.
• (iv) Applications received without the prescribed fee shall not be considered and summarily rejected. No representation against such rejection will be entertained. Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances nor will it be adjusted against any other examination or selection.

SSC Constable GD 2018 Eligibility Criteria :

Candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria before applying through online or offline mode. The application procedure for SSC Constable GD 2018 exam will be in two steps. For part I registration candidates have to fill all the common details such as name, mother's name, father's name, address, email address, mobile number, category and so on. After completing the stage I online form of SSC Constable GD, aspirants have to click on submit button. By doing so, they will get registration number and password for the part II registration form. In part II registration, candidates have to enter educational qualification and then they will have to upload scanned copies of passport size photograph and signature at the definite size.

As per the SSC examination authority department, the General and OBC Candidates must have to pay Rs. 50/- Only and there is no application fee for the SC/ST/PWD candidates.

SSC Constable GD 2018 Exam Pattern :

The SSC Constable GD 2018 exam will be conducted in three main steps that are:

1. Written Examination (Objective Type) (100 Marks)
2. Physical Standards Test & Physical Efficiency Test
3. Medical Test

The written examination pattern will be based on the newest form. There will be four section of objective type questions. There will be 25 questions for type and each question will carry one marks. For any wrongly answered question, 1/4th mark will be deducted.

SSC Constable GD 2018 Syllabus :

Part A: General Intelligence & Reasoning

Questions on analogies, similarities and differences, spatial visualization, spatial orientation, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetical reasoning and figural classification, arithmetic number series, non-verbal series, coding and decoding, etc.

Part B: General Knowledge and General Awareness

Questions in this section will be mentioned for checking candidate's general awareness. Questions will also be designed to test knowledge of current events and of such matters of everyday observations and experience in their scientific aspect as may be expected of any educated person. The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighbouring countries especially pertaining to sports, History, Culture, Geography, Economic Scene, General Polity, Indian Constitution, and scientific Research etc.

Part C: Elementary Mathematics

Questions on problems relating to Number Systems, Computation of Whole Numbers, Decimals and Fractions and relationship between Numbers, Fundamental arithmetical operations, Percentages, Ratio and Proportion, Averages, Interest, Profit and Loss, Discount, Mensuration, Time and Distance, Ratio and Time, Time and Work, etc. will be included

Part D: English/Hindi

SSC Constable GD 2018 Selection Procedure :
