BSF Recruitment 2017 – Asst Commandant Posts: Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs, Directorate General, Border Security Force (BSF) has invited applications for the recruitment of Assistant Commandant vacancies in BSF Engg Set up for the year 2016-17. Eligible candidates may apply in prescribed application format within 30 days from the date of advt & 45 days for far flung areas. BSF Vacancy Details:
Total No. of Posts: 15
Name of the Posts:
1. Assistant Commandant (Works): 07 Posts
2. Assistant Commandant (Electrical): 08 Posts
Age Limit: Candidates age should be below 35 years as on last date of receipt of application. Age relaxation is applicable by 5 years for SC/ ST, 3 years for OBC candidates & for others as per rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University or Institution for Post 1, Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University or Institution for Post 2.
Selection Process: Selection will be based on Written Examination, Documentation, Physical Standard Test & Physical Efficiency Test, Interview.
Application Fee: Candidates should pay Rs.400/- by Demand Draft/ Postal Order in favour of the addressee to whom the application is addressed, payable at respective SBI/ Post office at the location or near by station. No fee for Women/ SC/ BSF candidates.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates may send their applications along with DD, Three recent passport size photographs, two pasted on application form & admit card, self attested copies of qualification, age, experience, caste, NOC, Two self addressed envelopes of size of 25 x12 cms with postal stamp worth Rs. 40/- in an envelope super scripted as “Application for the Post of Assistant Commandant (Works)/ Assistant Commandant (Electrical) in BSF Engg Set up -2016-17″ to the concerned addressee as given in notification within 30 days from the date of advt & 45 days for far flung areas.

Last Date for Receipt of Applications: within 30 days from the date of advt
Last Date for Receipt of Applications for Far Flung Areas: Within 45 days for far flung areas.
